| 2007 10 04 | The Working Group has finalized the EBT Standards Version 4.0 Approval Request form. The Approval Request will be sent to the Advisory Committee the week of October 1, 2007. The recommended implementation date for EBT Standards Version 4.0 is January 21, 2008. |
| 2007 09 07 | On September 7, 2007 the Working Group has finalized the Approval Request document. The document was updated to include the latest version of GI 798 and GI 814. The Working Group asks all market participants to review the Approval Request form and raise any questions or concerns by Friday, September 14, 2007. If no objections are heard by September 14, the approval request will be sent to the Advisory Committee for review. |

The tentative implementation date of January 21, 2008 was selected and will include the following already Working Group Approved Global Issues:

In addition, the working group will be working towards resolving the following Global Issues for inclusion in version 4.0:
GI 798 SSS to Retailer Switch With a Move
GI 806 CCR Transactions
GI 811 Enroll Transaction - FVSA
To give market participants 6 months to make the necessary changes, the working group will work towards resolving the above 3 Global Issues by end of July 2007. At that time, the Global Issues will be sent to the Board for approval and the group will be working towards an implementation strategy.
Market participants are encouraged to let the working group know if they have any other issues they feel should be included in the next EBT change.
